🆕 Lead Technician – Information Technology Department - ONR
The oversight of the information technology system at the CLEA offices, the Mikisew and ONR and schools including the interim/portable classrooms. The Lead Technician will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring and management, CLEA information technology network and to provide guidance and, if required, training sessions for employees to enhance their skills and to develop user-friendly guides to improve IT literacy within the CLEA organization.
To provide leadership and guidance to other IT Technicians.
🆕 Receptionist, CLEA Administration Building
The receptionist for CLEA Administration Building reports to the direction of the Assistant Director, the receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and community members. This role is responsible for providing professional secretarial service, directing inquiries, managing office communications, and supporting administrative tasks. The incumbent is expected to maintain a welcoming and organized office environment while demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.
🆕 Bus Driver, Facilities, Maintenance & Transportation - CL
The position involves the safe and timely transportation of our students to/from the Mikisew and Otter Nelson River schools. The transportation schedule includes daily routes and, on occasion, extracurricular student activities.
Bus drivers are required to follow transportation regulations, policies and practices outlined in provincial legislation and the Cross Lake Education Authority.
Bus drivers, as a condition to employment, must have a valid and current “Manitoba Class Two Driver’s License” and are required to submit a driver’s abstract annually.
🆕 Security Guards Evening/Nights – Mikisew School
The Security Officer will be responsible for surveillance duties for facilities owned or leased by CLEA. The officer will conduct patrols, to assigned property, and will ensure the safety of students and staff personnel including properties.
The officer will be required have a valid driver’s license and must be able to work independently during shifts or in a team environment.

🆕 Maintenance Worker, Facilities, Maintenance & Transportat
The maintenance worker performs general maintenance work under the direction of their assigned maintenance supervisor. The duties require practical knowledge and experience in at least one specific trade in either carpentry, electrical or plumbing. The duties will also include routine maintenance activities such as painting, grounds keeping, snow and debris removal from all CLEA-owned facilities.
A maintenance worker will be required to have a valid and current “Manitoba Driver’s License” to operate a vehicle during working hours including CLEA owned vehicles.

Otter Nelson River / Mikisew is seeking traditional knowledge holders, community members, and support workers with land-based skills to join our team as casual Land-Based Support Workers.

Under the direction of the ONR Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor, the Custodian worker will provide general cleaning duties of classrooms, hallways, washrooms, entrances, lobbies floors, carpets, walls, cafeteria staff lunchroom, reception area, light fixtures, windows and other areas as assigned by their Supervisor or requested by the principal(s).
